Spoiler Alert: 'Glee' Recap: Season 4, Episode 14

Um…so Glee left me in emotions that I can’t put into words. Maybe these gifs will help. 

The episode began with Finn telling Rachel, who came down for Will’s wedding, about his kiss with Emma. Rachel tells Finn not to tell Will and Emma advises him not to do so either. Emma’s OCD is also higher than usual because of the stress of the wedding and the fact that her soon-to-be-husband’s best man kissed her. On the day of the wedding, Emma completely loses it and runs away from the scene and leaves Will at the alter!!

There’s also a lot of drama going on within the glee club. Jake wants to make his valentine’s day with Marley special but he’s not the romantic type. He ends up going to Ryder for suggestions and Ryder ends up planning out everything for Marley’s ultimate valentine’s week.  At the wedding reception, (which still went on because Emma’s parents paid for it) Jake reveals to Ryder that he expects Marley to sleep with him after all these romantic gestures. Ryder isn’t too happy about this. Marley and Jake end up not sleeping together but Jake tells her that Ryder was the mastermind behind all the romantic festivities. Marley then goes to thank Ryder and he tells her that he did those things for her and then kisses her!!

While Marley and Jake didn’t get busy, everyone else did! Kurt and Blaine, Artie and Emma’s niece (Betty a.k.a. Ali from The Glee Project season 2), Finn and Rachel, and Quinn and Santana!!!

Finn also tells Rachel that no matter what, they’ll always end up together. Rachel goes back to NYC and tells Brody about her time with Finn but it doesn’t bother him because Brody and Rachel are in an open, “mature” relationship. Brody is also a prostitute…A PROSTITUTE!! Of course Rachel doesn’t know.

Then Rachel checks her calendar and realizes something odd; she hasn’t had her period in a while. She buys and pregnancy test and all we are left with at the end of the episode is a shocked look on Rachel’s face.

I didn’t understand anything in this episode. I don’t know which direction the show is going in and I don’t know if I like it or hate it. Glee keeps getting more out of control and confusing. It’s like nothing makes sense anymore. The plot twists are entertaining to watch but I feel like the story is getting a little lost. Hopefully things will get back on track…As a matter of fact, I don’t even remember which track they were on.

1. I absolutely LOVED the “(Not) Getting Married Today” rendition from Company. That was just perfect!

2. The glee club singing “Anything Can Happen” at the end of the episode great.

Side notes:

1. Ali Stroker (Betty) did a great job. I wonder if we’ll see more of her.

2. I wonder who Rachel’s baby daddy is. I thought it would definitely be Brody but knowing Glee, Finn could end up being the father somehow.

3. I wonder where Emma ran off to and I can’t wait for her and Will to speak to each other again.

4. Quinntana?? I don’t understand it but I kind of like it!
