What The West Coast Looks Like From An East Coaster’s Perspective
Hey Buzznet, guess what: I’M GOING TO THE WEST COAST… only for a week. I’ll be visiting Las Vegas (does that count) and California to be specific. I’ve always wanted to visit over there and now I’m finally getting the chance to do so. I decided to make this post because I know a majority of my Buzznet family live in California. I want to get good advice from you guys on what things to check out and what to expect on my visit. And just for some entertainment, I decided to do “What the West Coast looks like from an East Coaster’s Perspective.” I’m probably going to be so wrong but what the hell. This is fun!
1. Everyday is Beach Day
Ok, so it seems like California has the best weather all year round. So why not go to the beach everyday?

2. The Beaches are Clean
Now when I say clean, I don’t mean there is absolutely no litter around; I mean the water. New York beaches, at least from my experiences, are DISGUSTING! The water is so dirty and there were times I found glass, diapers, and other miscellaneous items in the ocean. Never go to a beach in NYC (unless it’s Jones Beach, which is the best in my opinion).

Her toes reminds me of the new oreos! haha
3. In-N-Out
The best burger place…at least from the pictures it looks awesome.

4. Random Celebrities Walking Around
Of course there are celebrities in the city as well but I think it’s easier to spot them in LA.

5. Everyone drives, Everyone has a car
In NYC, getting a driver’s license is basically optional. You can survive the city without knowing how to drive, thanks to MTA. But in my mind, there are not as many public transportation stations on the west coast.

6. Skater Boys/Girls Everywhere and Everyone Surfs
NYC has been invaded by hipsters. One of my favorite hobbies is sitting in Union Square (a mecca for hipsters besides Brooklyn) and just watch them in action. It’s like a nature show. I know hipsters are everywhere but I think in California, the sk8er boi and surfer dudes still live on!

These are just the few of the stereotypes I have about the west coast. I realized the majority of my stereotypes are based on my perceptions of LA! I hope this gives you guys a laugh and I can’t wait to see your neck of the woods.
